I live on a mountain in Utah with a woman I love dearly. We are the parents of three: two daughters (both married) and a son. My daughters are beautiful and smart and funny like their mom. My son is finding his way through college, and he is handsome and athletic, unlike his dad.
I speak/read French, play the piano and guitar, and write professionally and personally, and don’t do any of these things particularly well. In February 2007 (age 47) I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, and it hasn’t been “cured,” so a lot of my life revolves around treatment decisions and travel to Nevada so I can work with an incredible oncologist. The rest of my life revolves around my family and making sense of my life—diving deep into the calm dark pool of the soul.
